My smiling boy :)

We finally got got images caught of Carter smiling!

At this age they smile and laugh but its so fast and the camera is never ready..but yesterday he was smiles all day. Everything was funny..especially ceiling lights! He thinks the ceiling light in our bedroom is hilarious..he can spot that thing a mile away and is makes him smile!

Got em done!

I finally got all the Crystal Necklaces made, oxidized, photographed and listed!

They are really pretty in person and the perfect simple little necklace to throw on!

I have another batch ready and these I am going to hand buff the chain to let some of the silver show through giving it that time worn look.

I honestly like them both ways..I have the purple one in the dark finish and I wear it all the time!

These are the gorgeous Swarovski Crystals I got in!

I've made 20 necklaces..and Oxidized them..next is the buffing and taking pictures..descriptions and listing.

It now takes me days to do what took hours before! HAHA

So look for them to be listed some time this week!

I remember last year when I started (July 14th) it took me forever to get a sale and then I thought I'd never make it to 10!

I am so thrilled to have 500 in sight!!

Boppy Boys!

This was a surprise I found when I walked in Carter's room..seems like Fido is finally accepting the perks that come with having a baby around!

The Geek Squad came and fixed my computer! But like any appliance, this dumb computer has done the same thing for 6 months and I'm not kidding you it stopped doing it yesterday morning!

But he said when I updated my Norton it removed a tool bar that could have been causing the problem..and he added some memory and cleaned out, updated and showed me how to back up using my new external hard drive.. so his trip was worth it!

And I have my fast computer back..what a relief!

It was funny because poor Carter, he did so good considering the geek was here from 1:15-7:00!

But he liked looking at him..I think his black & white uniform fascinated him!

The nerds are coming!

It's a great day...a uniformed member of the Geek Squad is coming to my house today! That is what the guy on the phone said..can you just picture that?

My computer has been limping along since I was 6 months pregnant! I have been putting it off thinking it would get better..and for some reason you just adjust to the problem. But I have finally had it! It is the biggest pain right now and its driving me nuts!

So I will not be available for awhile in case anyone is trying to email me..But hopefully this afternoon it will be as good as new!

Our House Update

I thought I'd give everyone an update on our house.

The rain has us running behind but the nice weather lately has made for lots of progress!

No the shop is not built yet :) it will be started in the fall

The dormer window on the left is a loft where I will have my office/jewelry area

Some rest for the weary...

Those darn shots Carter got Monday has made him not quite himself...he has been up at night every 2 hours like he did when he was a newborn..and no naps during the day...it seemed he just couldn't get content enough to sleep.

Finally last night he slept through the night again..yea!

So hopefully now I will have time to get a little jewelry making done..No new jewelry pics to post but I did some ordering this morning, I have gorgeous Swarovski Crystal Pendants on the way!

Precious Moments

I was rocking my little boo to sleep tonight and as he was nestled all snug on my chest..I realized that there are moments only a mother will witness.

No one else will ever see them because no camera is fast enough or can get in the right position..only a mothers eyes can see it.

Breast feeding especially enables those moments..the way they look up into your eyes and lay their tiny hands on your skin...the look on their face when they pull off drunk on milk, and giggle at the shadows on the ceiling :)

I wish I could show you those moments but I can't...you have your own...

here are some of ours that come close..they are precious but not as precious as the private ones that only my eyes have seen..

Baptism and Shots

Sunday July 13th Carter was baptized! He was exactly 2 months old..and he did really good! He was quiet and sleepy and didn't cry at all!

It was rainy in the morning but the day turned out to be beautiful!

Yesterday Carter got his 2 Month shots! He is now 11 lbs. 10 oz ~23 3/8" long!

He did just fine not crying until the last one and then only for a short time!

I think his feelings were hurt more than anything..so Daddy is trying to cheer him up..

Then he mostly slept all afternoon..Ahh poor little boy
